Demon’s Sanitising Head & the fight against Avian Flu
As cases of Avian Influenza continue to rise here in the UK new restrictions have been brought in that instructs all bird keepers to keep their captive birds inside as well as “Cleanse and disinfect all vehicles that have been transporting poultry (including game birds and pet birds), poultry products or poultry by products, after each journey [&] Cleanse and disinfect all crates, containers, plastic egg trays and other equipment before and after use, or if not possible, destroy”. The new cleaning requirements will involve companies investing in or hiring not only cleaning equipment but also cleaning chemical to comply with the regulations.
During the first Covid lockdown, at Demon, we developed a Sanitising Head to fit onto our machines. The Sanitising Head mists an area of 60 square meters per minute, and when sanitising chemical is added to the water this unit can disinfect large areas in a short space of time. The Sanitising Head is also detachable for handheld use making it easier to reach higher areas, around corners or inside of vehicles & trailers. We also have sanitising chemical available to purchase that eradicates Avian Influenza when mixed in with water in the pressure washer.
For companies that already have an existing pressure washer this Sanitising Head is an easy accessory to purchase and fit to your current machine.
